        Use your capabilities, learn something new and find out what works

      • AtPresent simply refers to the present, to now. Right now you have a choice. You cannot change the past, you can't influence the future. But right now you can act, now you have room for manoeuvre: you can become more aware your capabilities, learn lessons from the past, experiment with new habits, and be inspired.

         

        Call it professional honour or just job satisfaction: it matters to me whether coaching and training have an impact. That is why I pay a lot of attention to the actual use of new skills during and after a training and to converting insights into effective actions during coaching. We take a look at the ambitions of your company and of the participants, of you. If those ambitions coincide, each of you can 'fly'. We plan face-to-face or online meetings (and often a combination: 'blended') in such a way that there is sufficient time to translate new insights into different behaviour and to master this.         Executive

        You work in a high-pressure environment and are responsible for complex organizational changes. You take far-reaching decisions that affect many people and processes. You enjoy being such a crucial player in the success of the organization. The eyes are on you and you get a lot of appreciation. Sometimes too much. You want to express own concerns every now and then. You are seeking a sparring partner who has no interests in your organization. What do you see when you look at the mirror? How do you set an example? How do you deal with power, influence and politics?

        Expert

        You are very strong in terms of subject matter. You see the effects of your advice reflected in the strategy and practice in your organization. Many decisions have been taken on the basis of your thorough research and substantiation. However, do colleagues and bosses realize what your contribution was? Too often you see that 'lesser gods' surpass you. They get appointed to positions where you yourself could and would like to be. How do you ensure that your share in the success becomes visible? How do you consciously climb to a position that suits you better and where you see new opportunities?

        High Potential

        You stand out in the organization! You are given challenging jobs, have responsibility and have regular contact at the highest level. During or after your traineeship, you are developing rapidly, both professionally and personally. You get used to applause, making mistakes and moving on after reflection. Sometimes there are setbacks, major or unforeseen.         Your question and your practical situation are the starting point. Are you looking for quick wins, e.g. a difficult conversation tomorrow, or do you want to recognize and positively influence in-depth insight to be able to master your own behavioral patterns?

         

        You of course are the pivot of the coaching. However, we also focus on the context in which you operate: your work with colleagues, customers and stakeholders, your home situation, the current market and 'the world'. Body language is regularly discussed. It is often key to better understand and influence yourself and your counterparts. We zoom in on several aspects to see connections, develop new scenarios and achieve results.

        I once cut this message from the newspaper: An 80-year-old African man went to school for the first time in his life. This was possible because the education law in his country changed. He had a school uniform made to measure, and learned to read and write. At the same time, he himself taught geography and history. The school took full advantage of his extensive life experience.

         

        This is a starting point for me in my coaching and training: creating a learning environment in which people both engage in new things and make full use of their existing capacities. A

        Marieke de Boer has a background in theater and drama, supplemented over the years with numerous training and education in the field of coaching, Gestalt, Quantum Psychology, (online) training, and change management.

         

        Marieke works for small to large (international) companies, often in IT. Together with you, she knows how to achieve the desired results in an unconventional way. She puts a lot of emphasis on the conditions that optimize the results of the coaching and training: the 'climate' within an organization. After all: the more the ambitions of the individual participant (s) of coaching and training and the ambitions of the company overlap, the greater the effect.

        Volunteer at Libre Foundation

        Marieke de Boer provides leadership training for Libre Foundation in Tanzania, Uganda and on Zanzibar and Pemba. Libre is a professional training institute that provides training on a commercial basis in the Netherlands. With this we set up free leadership training worldwide for leaders of local social organizations.
